1. Who we are
This website, bartnikas.com, is the official site of Photo Portals, an art brand by Stanislav Bartnikas.
The seller is Stanislav Bartnikas, operating under a Freelancer Permit issued by Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Authority (RAKEZ), Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

In these Terms, "we" and "us" mean the seller. "You" means the person using the site or placing an order.
2. What these Terms cover
These Terms apply to your use of this site and to orders placed through the English-language shop on bartnikas.com.
They do not cover:
- purchases made through the separate Russian-language shop, which has its own offer;
- "Personal Place of Power" expeditions and other services. These are arranged individually by agreement.
By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.
3. Products
We offer two kinds of products.
Products with a cart. An acrylic prism with a photo portal and a phone case with a photo portal. You choose the photo portal, add the product to the cart and pay by card.
Limited edition photo portals on paper. These are large wall works. They are ordered by request, see section 6.
Silk scarves and wooden holders are not sold through the cart. They are available by arrangement, and the terms are confirmed by email.
Colours on a screen may differ slightly from the printed product, because every screen shows colour differently. Small differences of this kind are not a defect.
4. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in euro. The price of a cart product is the one shown on the product page and at checkout.
If your order is delivered to the European Union or the United Kingdom, tick the "EU or UK delivery" box at checkout. A regional price applies due to tax regulations.
Prices shown at checkout include applicable taxes where required.
We may change prices at any time. A change does not affect orders that we have already confirmed.
5. Ordering and payment for cart products
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe's own terms and policies apply to the payment.
The contract between you and us is concluded when we confirm the order by email. For cart products, this is the confirmation sent after payment.
Please check your delivery address and, for a phone case, the phone model before you pay. If you notice a mistake, write to support@bartnikas.com as soon as possible. Once production has started, we may not be able to change the order.
We may decline or cancel an order, for example if the product cannot be produced or delivered to your address. In that case we refund in full any payment received for that order.
6. Limited edition photo portals
Limited edition photo portals are not sold through the cart. You send a request from the page of the photo portal you have chosen.
Prices start from 4,000 EUR. The exact price and terms depend on the size and are confirmed by email before you pay.
Editions are limited to 20, 15, 10 or 7 copies, depending on the size.
Each work is produced individually to your order after we confirm it by email. It is printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper and is shipped unframed. Production and delivery timing is confirmed by email.
A certificate signed by the author, with the edition number, is sent to you.
Digital files are not sold.
The contract for a limited edition work is concluded when we confirm your order by email. If the terms confirmed by email differ from these Terms, the terms confirmed by email prevail.
7. Production and delivery
Cart products are made to order by our print partner, Prodigi, in your country or the nearest one, and are shipped from there. Production of the prism and the phone case usually takes 3 working days, followed by delivery.
Limited edition works on paper are shipped rolled in a tube. Other products are shipped in protective packaging.
Delivery time depends on the destination country and the shipping method. Delivery times are estimates.
Shipping is included in the price unless otherwise stated at checkout.
If an order is fulfilled outside the destination country, local import taxes, customs duties or courier clearance fees may apply. Where applicable, these charges are payable by the recipient unless otherwise stated.

8. Damaged, defective or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, defective or not as described, please write to support@bartnikas.com as soon as possible, preferably within 14 days of delivery.
Please send clear photographs of the product, the packaging where available, and the shipping label. Please keep the packaging until the claim is resolved.
We will review the issue. A damaged or defective item is replaced or refunded at our expense. This applies to all products, including limited edition works.
This timeframe helps us resolve claims quickly. It does not limit any mandatory rights you have under the law.
9. Returns and right of withdrawal
Cart products, consumers in the EU and the UK. You have the right to withdraw from the purchase of a prism or a phone case within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To do so, notify us before the 14 days expire. You may use the Withdrawal page or send a clear statement by email to support@bartnikas.com.
We refund the price and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the goods back or proof that they have been sent. Return postage is at your expense.
Limited edition works. Each limited edition work is produced individually to the buyer's order after confirmation by email. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, the right of withdrawal applies to these works to the extent required by mandatory law. If you wish to withdraw, write to support@bartnikas.com and we will reply about your request.
Customers outside the EU and the UK. We do not normally accept returns or exchanges because you have changed your mind, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
Nothing in this section affects your rights if goods arrive damaged, defective or not as described.
10. Copyright
All photo portals, images, texts, video, logos and other content on this site belong to Stanislav Bartnikas or to the partners named on the site, and are protected by copyright law.
Buying a product gives you ownership of the physical object only. It does not give you copyright or any right to reproduce, publish or use the image commercially.
You may share images from this site on social media if you credit the author, Stanislav Bartnikas, and link to bartnikas.com or to his account.
For any other use, including on websites, blogs or in print, please ask for permission first at portals@bartnikas.com.
11. Personal data
We use the personal data you give us to process your order, deliver it and answer your questions. To do this we share the necessary data with our payment and production partners. We do not sell personal data.
Requests about your personal data go to portals@bartnikas.com.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, liability for fraud, and your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the paragraph above:
- our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data.
13. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure to perform that is caused by an event outside our reasonable control. Examples are natural disasters, war, strikes, acts of authorities, customs delays, and failures of carriers, production partners or networks.
If such an event affects your order, we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can.
14. Severability
If a court or authority finds that a part of these Terms is invalid or cannot be enforced, the rest of these Terms stays in force.
15. Governing law and courts
These Terms and any order are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The courts of Ras Al Khaimah have jurisdiction over disputes.
If you are a consumer, this does not affect the mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence. It also does not affect your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where mandatory law gives you that right.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
